Today Magnet Schools of America released a study showing that more and more children across the nation are benefiting from magnet schools. In partnership with UNC Charlotte Urban Institute, they discovered that there are now 4,340 magnet schools serving nearly 3.5 million American students. This is more than ever before. Across 46 states, magnet schools educated one in every 15 public school students!
This study goes on to define magnet schools, and show that since the 1970’s magnet schools have given our students a quality education.
